Common questions
Do you sell to small shops?
Yes. Order online with a card, no account needed. Open an account when you start buying regularly and want saved lists or terms.
Can you match a part number from another supplier?
Usually. Send the manufacturer part number and we'll quote that exact part, or tell you plainly that we can't get it. We never swap in a different product without your approval.
Do you offer net terms?
To approved business accounts. Our account terms are published before launch.
Where do you ship?
Across the contiguous US. Items with shipping limits, such as hazmat or freight-only products, say so on the product page before you check out.
How do drums and totes ship?
By freight truck (LTL), on a pallet. A tote is its own pallet; drums ship strapped to one. Freight is priced from your ZIP code, the weight and the freight class, so add drums and totes to a quote list to see the freight cost before you order. Tell us if the delivery address has a loading dock or needs a liftgate truck, and whether it is a business or a residence: each changes the freight cost.
What does "ships as hazmat" mean for my order?
Hazmat items ship by ground only, never by air, with the hazard labels and papers DOT requires. Carriers add a hazmat fee per package, which shows in your freight cost. Ask for the applicable safety data sheet and confirmed shipping requirements before ordering.
Do you sell chemicals?
No. Oakspan focuses on industrial supplies: packaging, safety equipment, empty containers and everyday operating essentials.
